Postcolonial Ecocriticism

Postcolonial studies and Ecocriticism are two different fields of study which examine the different subjects from different perspectives. So, the question came is how and in what ways Postcolonial studies and Ecocriticism are connected. Postcolonial studies are the aftermath effects of colonialism on Human's mind while Ecocriticism is a study of exploitation of ecology by human beings. So can both things be connected?

Well, the answer is the growing interest of people in doing interdisciplinary study of single things. So, Postcolonial Ecocriticism is a new emerging form in Postcolonialism which focuses more on the non-human victims of Postcolonialism. So, Postcolonial Ecocriticism is a study of Ecology and how it is exploited by humans for their personal gain. Like Colonizers exploited the native people.
