Onomastic Study of the Names in 'The White Tiger'
This presentation focuses on the Onomastic Study of the Names used by Arvind Adiga in his novel 'The White Tiger.' The names of characters play a very significant role in analysing the behavioral Characteristics of character. This study aims at analysing the Significance level of the names of the characters used in The White Tiger like.. Munna, Balram Halwai, The White Tiger, Ashok Sharma etc. This also includes how animal imagery used to provide multiple angles for interpretation. And how Linguistic Enveloping works to provide double folded meanings.
