The very related quote to Arundhati Roy, who is a "One-Book Wonder" who became famous by his first debut novel "The God of Small Things" And still she is in controversy regarding the anti-Indian statements given by her. She is an Indian Author and Political Activist and Actress. Also involved with Environmental and Human rights causes.
Her Father was a Bengali Tea Planter and her mother Christian of Syrian descent who challenged India's inheritance law by saying that Christian woman to receive and Equal share of their Fathers estate. So we may say that she got the kind of rebellious spirit is from her mother.
During 1995 she again came in trend because of her Two newspaper article claiming that Shekhar Kapur's film Bandit Queen exploited Phoolan Devi, one of India's most wanted criminals in the early 1980s and heroine of the oppressed.
